“Semana Objectivo 2015” [Goal 2015 Week] was held in Aveiro with the goal of alerting people to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Promoted by Aveiro Municipality in partnership with NGO ‘ORBIS – Cooperation and Development‘, the initiative encompassed several initiatives such as exhibitions, documentaries screenings, colloquium, and public actions as “Levanta-te conta a pobreza [Stand up against poverty]”.
Alongside with photographic exhibitions and other initiatives, ORBIS developed several billboards placed across the city of Aveiro, featuring the Millennium Development Goals.
