This visualization aims to show facebook penetration compared with the Human Development Index worldwide. These two indicators are familiar to most people and are part of our daily life but they are rarely used in the same context. The first appears often in a context of media-related articles and the second used in information regarding world economic issues. The main challenge of this project was to allow a global analysis of their connections, while keeping data integrity.
